Save Mother Organization:

Its pleasure to share about guest speaker session learning’s here. “Save mother “organization working with rural area people regarding health related project. Firstly Mr. Anoop introduced himself and he took fellows introduction.

Then Save A Mother started in 2008; since then we have grown our scope, increased the number of supporting chapters in the US and partnered with Save A Mother UK in London and India.  Partner organizations in the UK and India operate independently towards the same mission.

Save A Mother educates women about pregnancy, nutrition, immunization, delivery and care of the child. Many other regions in the world are in a similar situation, and we hope to bring this special effort to other countries with the help of contributors just like you. We believe that one preventable death is one too many.  We urge you to Save a Mother and together we can save a million mothers.

This organization has been working since 2008. It has several projects mainly health sector. Such as

•      Maternal Care in Uttar Pradesh (UP), India

Save a Mother started maternal mortality reduction program in approximately 1000 villages in 2008. The program has expanded in 50 districts of UP with execution by our NGO partner, RGMVP.

·         Maternal Care in Karnataka

We are replicating our success in maternal mortality reduction in Gadag district of Karnataka. This program is funded by Deshpande Foundation.

·         Tuberculosis Control

In keeping with our mission, developing health solutions for the poor, we have launched TB Control Program in CSM Nagar in UP in 2012.

·         Youth mobilization:

Mobile Youth mobilizes young, caring leaders who are looking to make a difference in their global society, to make an imprint past the far reaches of their countries’ shores; to grow alongside like-minded peers, forging camaraderie’s, and honing the skills and experiences that are befit of all great leaders. For this, Sammy’s will unite with the Save a Mother mission in mind.

Then fellows asked few questions regarding this NGO. How it identified beneficiaries? So this Ngo presently working with rural area’s only. So it has relationship with rural people and also its trained trainees to work with village people. Then Mr. Sanjeev made vote of thanks.
