I am very glad this module because it’s very helpful for increases my communication, Listening, and Comprehension Ideas. Mr.Sanjeev Kulakarni took two days session about Effective communication.

Effective communication means the ability to express ourselves well, both verbally and non-verbally, in ways which are proper to our cultures and situations. This does not mean only being able to express our desires and opinions, but also our needs and fears, including asking for advice and help. Effective communication involves active listening.

In Effective communication I knew about Basic steps of Listening such as Hearing, Understanding, and
Evaluating. There are four types in effective listening such as Discrimination listening, Marginal
Listening , Projective listening, Active listening.

Barriers will comes when Lack of Interest about speaker or subject, Ego, Preconsued ideas, Mismatch of perception, Language difference, Disability of hearing.
I have learnt effective Communication helps to improve our knowledge, memory power, Creative thinking.
